Malaga Airport has made available to the public an interactive map that allows you to see the noise caused by the activity of the airport in its environment and provides accurate information about the flight paths of aircrafts and noise levels they produce.
The map, which can be accessed through the website of the public company Aena, offers an application called “WebTrak” enabling consultations on the movements of aircrafts in flight – with 30 minutes delay for safety reasons – and identifying the noise produced by aircrafts in a particular area or a particular time period.
You can also select a place for the system to calculate the direct distance between any aircraft passing through the vicinity and that point, and it furthermore provides information about the movements of previous days.
Using this application, citizens can file a complaint or claim to Malaga Airport and automatically move the aircraft information. This tool is already used in the airports of Madrid-Barajas, Barcelona-El Prat and Valencia and is available in Spanish, English and German on the website https://www.bksv.com/
