Qatar Airways, the World class airline, is extending its offer for flights between Doha and Malaga, Costa del Sol, to all year round.
The national airline of the state of Qatar began its connection with the Coata del Sol offering flights Doha-Malaga in June 2018. By them, it was a summer route that has increased its demand over the years.
The Middle Eastern airline thus strengthens its commitment to the popular Costa del Sol, which until now had only been available during the summer season.
Malaga thus becomes the third Spanish city, after Madrid and Barcelona, to connect with the Qatari capital, Doha, throughout the year.
Specifically, in the autumn and winter schedule it will fly three times a week. Spain is a market in continuous growth for the company, based on the 30% increase in bookings for the summer of 2024 compared to the previous year.
International hub
Hamad International Airport in Doha is a major hub with important connections to the whole of Asia.
This means that, at least three times a week during the year, Malaga will have connections to more than 170 destinations such as Bangkok, Manila, Shanghai, Maldives, Phuket, Bangkok, Dubai and Tokyo.

Qatar Arways has already increased its offer for Malaga flights this summer with a daily flight in July and August, and five weekly flights in June and September. Already in October it launched its permanent offer.

Economy class
Qatar Airways offers economy class passengers a seat pitch of up to 34 inches. On A330 aircraft are offered individual seat-back TV screens. Passengers on Airbus A350, A380, Boeing 777 and 787 aircraft are offered touch-screen monitors.
Qatar Airways’ first Starlink-equipped commercial flight
Qatar Airways as the first airline has taken the future. On Tuesday, 22 October 2024 operated the world’s first Starlink-equipped Boeing 777 aircraft from Doha to London.
This first Starlink-equipped commercial flight is just the beginning of a new era of connectivity: 35,000 feet above ground passengers can now stay entertained and connected throughout their journey, completely free of charge, according to the airline.

During this winter season the Costa del Sol airport will have more than a hundred active routes.
