Saudi Arabian Airlines (SAUDIA), has announced that this summer it will add flights to Malaga from Riad to its offer.
The national flag carrier of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is extending its offer to “cooler” summer destinations to escape the considerable heat of this country during the summer.

Malaga-Costa del Sol airport is undoubtedly one of the most sought-after destinations during the summer. Many Arab visitors prefer to spend the summer in neighbouring Marbella, just 45 minutes away.

Seasonal summer route to Malaga
The seasonal summer route to Malaga will run from July 16 to September 5.
It will be a direct route that will operate from both Riyadh and Jeddah, four times a week.
Tuesdays and Fridays there will be flights from Riyadh to Malaga, while flights from Jeddah will be on Thursdays and Sundays.
Meanwhile flight from Saudi Arabia to Málaga are direct flights, the in airlines website states that on the return segment from Malaga, there will be a stop in Madrid for passengers embarking onwards to Riyadh or Jeddah.
Thus, the flight time to Spain will be 6 hrs 45 minutes. And the flight back to Riyadh 9 hrs 05 minutes and to Jeddah 8 hrs 35 minutes, due to the 1 hrs 20 mins stop in Madrid.
SAUDIA will operate this service with the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. It is configured in two classes with 24 seats in Business Class (featuring fully-flat beds) and 274 seats in Economy Class. There are inflight television screens at every seat with up to 5,000 entertainment hours.
