Malaga airport has recorded during the month of January an increase of 8.1% in passenger numbers over the same month last year, according to statistics provided by Spanish Airports and Air Navigation (Aena).
In January have passed 589,994 passengers through the facility, of which 168,353 traveled between Spanish cities and the remaining 415,370 on international flights, most of them coming from or going to the UK, Germany and France.
