Jet2.com launches new route between Malaga and Glasgow

The airline Jet2.com has launched on Friday a new route between the AGP airport and the Scottish city of Glasgow. The flight left at 12.30 pm and is the sixth connection to the UK.

Specifically, the airline already offers direct flights between Malaga and Edinburgh, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle and Blackpool. The new route will run until late October with a frequency of four flights per week.

In addition, Jet2.com has informed in a statement that it will launch a new route from Malaga to East Midlands from next June 1, coinciding with the peak tourist season.

“Malaga and its beaches are a popular destination for British tourists, who will also enjoy complete vacation packages offered by our tour operator Jet2holidays.com,” said the CEO of the company, Ian Doubtfire.

In addition to bringing travellers from the UK, Glasgow is a trendy, cosmopolitan city with a lively cultural scene, being an interesting option for Spanish travellers.
