Volotea Flights to Malaga 2026

Volotea continues to expand its network from southern Spain to offer greater direct international connectivity with more flights to Malaga.

The Spanish low-cost airline Volotea has announced the launch of a new direct route between Malaga-Costa del Sol Airport and Verona, Italy, for the 2026 peak season.

The route between the Costa del Sol and Verona will begin on August 1st, at the height of the peak season, and will be the airline’s first direct connection between Verona and Malaga Airport.

The service will operate twice weekly, specifically on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

The airline anticipates that the new route will be very popular with passengers and will therefore offer approximately 7,000 seats on nearly 40 flights throughout the year.

With this new connection to Italy, Volotea will offer a total of 19 routes from Malaga.

Of these, five are within Spain (A Coruña, Asturias, Bilbao, San Sebastián, and Santander). There are also five in Germany (Berlin, Cologne, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, and Stuttgart) and six in France (Brest, Bordeaux, Strasbourg, Lille, Lyon, and Toulouse). Volotea also offers flights to Malaga from Greece (Athens) and now from Verona in Italy.

The airline also plans to incorporate additional aircraft into its fleet this year, reaching 46 aircraft, and has announced two base openings in France for 2026, in Montpellier and Limoges. France remained Volotea’s largest market in 2025, with approximately 48,000 flights operated and more than 7.2 million passengers transported.
