Around 11 am this morning we could witness from our offices located next to Malaga Airport a large plume of black smoke and flames coming from the first floor of the San Miguel Brewery, located on the other side of the road. For several minutes could be seen a very spectacular large plume of black smoke.
The fire at San Miguel Brewery in Malaga was extinguished only a few minutes later by the fire brigade. Apparently, it had been caused during a takedown by a few sparks that lit insulation fiberglass which produces a lot of much smoke. Nobody was harmed in the accident. San Miguel is among the six most productive breweries in Spain.
