Ryanair connects Malaga and Ibiza 4 times a week from late March 2011

The low cost airline Ryanair will connect from March 27, 2011 Malaga with the island of Ibiza on a new route that will have a frequency of four flights per week-Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

The new route joins the announced one last week which will link the capital of the Costa del Sol to Stockholm Vasteras airport.

With the new route, according to Ryanair, more residents and visitors in Malaga can enjoy the beaches, Ibiza social life and its natural and cultural heritage, which has become a World Heritage Site by Unesco.

Ryanair continues to open new connections to Malaga airport, which supports its expansion in Spain, mainly due to the excellent results shown by statistics, as stated by the company.

Last October, international tourists have increased almost 44 percent over the same period in 2009, which had to do, according to the airline, with the opening of its base in Malaga last June.

With increased travel and overnight stays in the capital of the Costa del Sol “continues the trend of growth above the national and the regional averageā€ the airline has emphasized.

To celebrate the launch of this new route between Malaga and Ibiza, Ryanair has launched an offer of one million seats for six Euros across its route network.
