Policies on flights with babies
Flying with a baby can be stressful, but it is much easier if you know what to expect. Policies about flying with babies vary between airlines and the rules change constantly, so it is better to check with the airline before booking your flight to Malaga.
According to the website of the Transportation Security Administration, mothers flying with or without children are permitted to bring breast milk in quantities larger than three ounces if the milk is declared for inspection at the security checkpoint.
Most airlines allow carry baby strollers to the door of the plane, although generally they are not allowed on the plane. Baby strollers and car seats will be checked free of charge and will be returned when you reach your destination. On most airlines, if you travel with a baby is allowed to bring more than one hand luggage so you can bring supplies for your baby.
As a general rule, try to take into consideration in choosing short, non-stop flights; changing aircrafts would bother the baby, and even more if it is taking his nap. Ensure that you choose flight times that coincide with the small one´s sleeping hours, so there should be no problem.
Ask if there are offers for the passages of young children and also if they offer any special equipment for your comfort as baby seats, or special food.
We wish you a pleasant flight to Malaga airport and a great holiday on the Costa del Sol!
