Minimum service in transport during the general strike on March 29

The Ministry of Development and unions calling to the general strike on March 29 against the labour reform have achieved consensus on the minimum services that affect the national transport: train, plane, bus and ports.

Flights: Regarding domestic flights there will operate 10% of flights between Spanish cities. There are guaranteed half of the flights between the Balearic and Canary Islands with the mainland.

As for international flights are guaranteed 20% of those between Spain and various European Union countries and 40% of flights with countries outside the EU.

Trains: For commuter trains has been agreed minimum service of 30% and 35% between 6 and 9 am. Long distance trains will operate on 20%. Middle distance trains (regional) have no minimum service, thus circulation is not ensured.

Buses: In the bus service will operate on 25% of concessions under the Ministry of Development.

Ports: In maritime transport will be provided between 50% and 100% of trips between the mainland and the Balearic Islands, 100% of services between Melilla and the Canary Islands to the mainland. And between the Peninsula and Ceuta is guaranteed 10% of transport.
