Malaga airport is now connected to the Finnish city of Tampere, thanks to a flight operated by Ryanair from late March and which allows Malaga citizens taking a Nordic break and discovering the third city in Finland; a city that manages to combine a lively cultural life with peaceful natural surroundings among lakes and log cabins, away from any mass tourism.
And vice versa, Finnish citizens longing for the sun and the relaxed southern lifestyle of the Costa del Sol can cover now the more than 4.200 kilometres distance between the two cities in one single flight. As a side note, the town of Fuengirola on the Costa del Sol has the largest community of Finnish citizens in Spain.
