British Airways starts today a new route between Malaga airport and London City airport

British Airways plane landing in Malaga

British Airways launches this Wednesday a new route between the airport of Malaga and London City, the most central airport of the capital.

The British company will connect the capital of the Costa del Sol and the London airport with four flights a week: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. This new route is, as reported from British Airways, “a substantial improvement for customers” due to the “strategic location” of the airfield, which allows speeding up journeys and gaining time for travelers.”

The new connection to London City Airport is in addition to four daily flights which British Airways already operates between Malaga Airport and London Gatwick Airport. In fact, the company doubled in March the number of frequencies between the two airports to a total of 28 weekly frequencies.

So from now, BA’s customers have more than 30 weekly flights between London and Malaga, flying to two of the most important airports in the city, the international Gatwick and London City downtown.
